I provide outpatient counseling services to individuals and partnerships aged 18 and older.
Free Consultation:
I offer a 15-minute consultation at no charge. During this time, you can discuss your needs and expectations for therapy. This step is crucial in determining whether our practice is the right fit for you, as well as identifying which clinician has the appropriate skills and training to meet your needs.
Initial Appointment:
The first appointment will involve a biopsychosocial assessment to identify your current concerns and develop a treatment plan. During this session, you'll have the opportunity to actively participate in setting goals and learning about the therapeutic processes available to you. This client-led experience is designed to help you discover the tools needed to invite positive change into your life.
Individual Therapy:
For many people, managing life changes and meeting daily demands can become challenging. These changes may lead to tension in relationships, struggles with sexual function, or persistent feelings of worry or depression. Individual therapy is a one-on-one appointment designed to address these concerns.
Sex Therapy:
Partner relationships bring both joys and challenges. Sexual experiences can play a significant role at any stage of a relationship, and partners may sometimes need additional support or guidance, whether they choose to attend individually or together. Sex therapy can help address the "growing pains" of a relationship, navigate sexual changes, explore new concerns in a long-standing partnership, or discuss the end or redefinition of a relationship.
Partner Therapy:
Partner therapy is a form of psychotherapy where a specialized therapist works with two or more individuals in a romantic relationship to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their connection. This approach addresses various relationship issues, including infidelity, communication breakdowns, and transitional conflicts.
The therapy aims to foster understanding and empathy between partners, develop healthier coping mechanisms for stress and disagreements, and enhance intimacy and affection. It is beneficial for those experiencing a range of relationship difficulties, including premarital couples, partners dealing with infidelity, individuals facing communication problems, couples navigating financial or parenting conflicts, and those recovering from trauma or abuse.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR):
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy has been extensively researched and is supported by scientific evidence as an effective treatment for trauma. Its primary goal is to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR is particularly effective for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders.
This therapy helps reduce the emotional impact of traumatic memories and promotes better coping mechanisms and resilience. It can also enhance self-esteem and overall well-being. EMDR therapy is beneficial for individuals who have experienced any type of traumatic event, including sexual assault or abuse, war or combat, accidents, natural disasters, and medical procedures.

I accept the following insurances: Primera, BCBS, Aetna, United Health Care, UMR, Optum, Medicare, Tricare, and Triwest. *Please note: I am unable to bill Medicaid.*
